A bansuri is a type of flute from India and Nepal and the word means 'Bamboo Melody'.

This original mini album produced by Finn Peters features Bembe Segue and Eska, plus emcee Yungun aka Essa who provides a great story for the track 'All About Mary'.

Although all the tracks have a Hip Hop groove, the EP is genre-defying and there's an organic live jazz feel with flute, piano, live bass, percussion and trombone all evident, that great sound you would expect from a maestro like Finn.

The EP was originally released in 2005 on Traficante records, also on vinyl - and we are now pleased to be able to present it here on bandcamp.
